And that is as much of my nutrition I am reporting for this weekend. Mostly because I didn’t keep track of it all, it’s Valentine’s Day Weekend with Valentine’s Day falling on a Friday and also on a 3 Day Weekend, and I spent the weekend at the Show Stopper Dance Competition with my Girlfriend and her two little dancers! Lots of walking around Downtown Disney and lots of eating – these girls love to eat – I love it!. And even though Anna wasn’t the one doing the cooking, you can bet that the meals were awesome! House of Blues, Haagen Dazs, Mama Cozza’s, Zen Sushi to name a few of the restaurants we enjoyed. I am so thankful for getting to go and see the girls perform and share in such a great experience. So much fun! Got back this evening and finished out the weekend with a P90X3 MMX workout and rolling with the rumbleroller. So nice!
Tomorrow I am going to start reducing my dairy and refined sugar intake. Feel free to wager on how long that will last 😉 You might be surprised!
Today is a scheduled X2 Recovery + Mobility Day in the P90X2 Performance rotation. This program give you two rest or stretch days a week since it is designed to work more efficiently than its predecessor P90X (which is still an amazing program to this day and highly recommended for body transformation). So since today was a rest day, I thought it was fitting to go out and ride and run (back to back) as fast as I could. Seems restful enough, right? This is known as a brick workout, because after you get off of the bike, your feet feel like bricks hitting the pavement. This is a great way to get practical triathlon training since there is no rest between the three legs of the sport (swim/bike/run). Today I was happy with my performance especially after the ride I did yesterday. I am definitely looking forward to a yummy filling dinner tonight! Happy Valentines Day!
