Back to Core rocked me this morning! What a great workout! My back definitely got worked, so did my legs, and come to think of it, so did my whole body! Thanks Shaun T! This evening I finally got into the pool and worked on a few things with my stroke. Felt great to get into the pool. I find that if I am swimming regularly it keeps my head clear of pollen and other allergens that are prevalent this time of year. If I am not, then I have to use Neil-Med to irrigate my sinuses, which is just about the sexiest thing ever if you want to watch it some time 😉 ! Hey at least that stuff really works! If you have sinus issues, I strongly recommend Neil-Med! Anyway enough of the PSA, Vertical Plyo is tomorrow, which is why I didn’t go for a run this evening. Thankfully Friday is a Rest Day! Looking forward to it!

Had a good Brick Workout today! Swimming to running. Not your normal brick, but it is quite difficult nonetheless and was a great workout. This evening I got in some Yoga and now I am finishing the night off with some foam rolling!

Back into the Challenge today. I ended up adding a Recovery Week for this week instead of going back into the Performance Phase. With my Triathlon at Edwards Air Force Base coming up this weekend, I figured the rest of this week should be devoted to swimming, biking and running as well as flexibility and getting back to my nutrition which has been off a bit for the past week.

Strong ride this afternoon followed by a good stretch session. The allergen index was super high today in Bakersfield so I was hating life earlier but getting better now. I am hoping that Neil Med, Flonase, and Symbicort, and a little Benadryl tonight will put the Kibosh on it!
