Early Dinner: 4 Pieces of Pizza and Potato Wedges
Dinner #2: 2 Bowls of Cookie Crisp, 1 Cup Yogurt, 16 oz Glass of Orange Juice, 2 Tangerines, and a Bag of Popcorn
Jog-a-thon got the best of my day. I basically lived between the kids’ school and Starbucks from 8 to 1:15. The nutrition went a little wide and somehow found myself at McDonalds, fast food I have sworn off. I didn’t feel great after eating the food, but no where near the chicken “salt-lick” sandwich incident from last year. To top it off, my lunch consisted of 10 Thin Mints (Refrigerated Girl Scout Cookies). I should have just eaten the whole sleeve at that point. Dinner wasn’t bad, except for all of the cheese and then my second dinner added more dairy. Tomorrow I plan on a busy and productive day.
Lunch: Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough, Pita Chips and Hummus
Dinner: Chicken Breast, Pasta, and Arugula Salad
Snack: Texas Sheet Cake
Workout 16 of TriCore today. Ate better today. Training is good. Tomorrow is a logistical nightmare with kids’ Jog-a-thon. It will be interesting to see how I do with diet and exercise since I have not planned.
Dinner: 2 Chicken Sandwiches, Criss Cut Fries, some Chicken Nuggets
Snack: Piece of Cheese Pizza, 2 Bowls of Honey Bunches of Oats, 1/2 Cup Yogurt
Workout 14 of TriCore today. I spoke with the trainer Jack Nunn about just riding out the rest of the workouts over the next 3 days and he agreed. This would give me an active rest day on Saturday before Sunday’s Bakersfield Tri. A day of rest is always good. I agree 😉 !

Insanity: The Asylum Volume 2 is on hold this week. I’ll finish of Tricore Week 4 this week before the Bakersfield Triathlon on Sunday. I was on the EVOcx for 55 Minutes again today. So happy that I am drinking AcidCheck in my water. The TriCore workout induces a serious sweat session. Trying to spread out the calories, but having trouble with the sweets. Looking to get that reeled in over the next few days.

Workout: Short Family Walk by the Kern River / Lake Ming
Snack: Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich
Dinner: Pepperoni Pizza, Hot Wings, Potato Wedges
Snack: 2 Cookies, Lime Popsicle
Drank a bunch of water yesterday. Even though I ate some snacks too, I am pretty sure most of what I gained yesterday was water weight. Trying to up the water intake to get pre-hydrated for the Bakersfield Triathlon next Sunday. This next week is going to be fairly heavy cycling training with TriCore. I am taking off this week from Insanity: The Asylum Volume 2 and going to get some running and swimming in as well as the cycling. I am so excited for this race! It is such a great race!
Dinner: Penne Pasta with Butter and Breaded Chicken, 1 Cup Yogurt, 2 Tangerines, Handful Raw Almonds, 4 Cookies
Snack: 2 Bowls Honey Bunches of Oats, 2 Lime Popsicles, Bag of Popcorn
Finished off the second week of Asylum Volume 2. I only completed 7 of the Sudden Deaths. Gotta work on that for next time. Also finished off the third week of TriCore on the EVOcx. I was on the bike for 55 Minutes. I forgot the workout got longer this early in the progression. It was a really good session. I definitely got behind in my calories today. I need to work on eating more earlier in the day.
