Took off Tuesday from training. I am thinking that Tuesday may start to be my rest day from now on. Today I couldn’t take it any longer and went in to see the Chiropractor about the pain in my left leg. I have tried rest, stretching, and myofascial release with no success. These past two months have been painful, labored, and somewhat depressing to say the least. When your body is out of whack and you can’t perform as well as you would like, it tends to bum you out. It turns out that I was way out of alignment and all I needed was a good adjustment. I immediately felt relief which in turn made me sleepy. (I have not been sleeping well for the past few months) Its amazing how something like skeletal alignment can affect your activities of daily living. After a quick nap, I was ready to go for a bike ride. I felt so much more comfortable and even though the wind was blowing pretty good and the triple digit heat was sizzling, I put down a decent workout! Looking forward to seeing what else I am able to achieve with my rejuvenation!
