Just finished X2 Yoga again. This is such a great workout and hit the spot this evening. It definitely gets you warm and begins to open you up quickly. My hips have been super tight today as well as my hamstrings. They feel so much better now. I still need to roll out my IT band quad and hip flex-ors on both legs still, but the problem areas definitely got worked tonight.
So after talking with some friends and other coaches I decided to go into Recovery for the rest of this week and all of next week. This will allow my hamstring to heal and allow my body to decompress after the Tejon Challenge. I will continue to swim everyday if possible though since this will continue to work my upper body as well as provide an aerobic and anaerobic exercise for me while my legs, lower back, and middle back take a break. I also have P90X Training Certification next weekend in Santa Monica, so I would like to be in flexible shape for that so I can give it 100% when I am there.
